COMPLETE DEFENSE VERDICT IN TWO-MONTH RICO TRIAL
Lee & Tran obtained a complete defense verdict for its clients after a grueling two-month trial in the Complex Civil Department of the Orange County Superior Court. The Firm’s clients were sued by a leading financial services company under the convoluted Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The plaintiff was represented by two experienced trial counsel, one of whom was flown in from another state just to try this case. Despite the fact that the Firm was retained on the eve of the original trial date, it was able to master over one million of documents and the complex RICO law, and mount a successful defense for its clients.
